About the role You’ll play an active part in the design and coordination of mechanical and electrical building services for commercial, residential, education, and public‑sector developments. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to the full project lifecycle—from early‑stage concept design through to detailed technical work and on‑site support. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include: * Producing engineering calculations, technical drawings, and design reports * Assisting with the development of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, lighting, power, and public health * Learning and applying industry‑standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and specialist design tools * Supporting sustainability assessments and low‑carbon design strategies * Attending project meetings and collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients * Helping to ensure designs meet regulatory, environmental, and safety standards This is a hands‑on role where you’ll quickly gain exposure to real projects and see your work make a tangible impact.
