We're on the lookout for a talented part qualified accountant to join a fast-growing independent business with multiple locations across Merseyside. The Role
You'll work closely with the Finance Director to ensure the numbers are watertight and provide real-time insights that drive smarter decision-making across the business. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone eager to take ownership and grow with the company.
What You'll Do
1. Produce weekly trading reports on sales, margins, labour costs, and cashflow.
2. Support with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
3. Perform reconciliations (bank, tills, POS) and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE/NIC, and HMRC requirements.
4. Introduce process improvements for cash handling, stock control, and supplier payments.
