Responsibilities
* You will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons with a focus on Biology, igniting curiosity about the natural world and biological processes.
* The role involves expertly guiding students through diverse biological topics, from cell biology to ecosystems, following a stimulating and well-structured curriculum.
* You will cultivate a vibrant and inquiry-based learning environment, encouraging scientific investigation and critical thinking about biological issues.
* You will assess and monitor student progress in Science (Biology) with care, providing constructive feedback that fosters their scientific development.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Biology or Science with a strong Biology background is essential.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective Biology lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* A deep and current understanding of biological principles, coupled with the ability to make the subject accessible and relevant, is expected.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to manage practical experiments, are vital.
