We are looking for a leader to embed best practice Purchase to Pay processes and manage day-to-day P2P activities in collaboration with accounting and Financial Shared Services.


Your Main Responsibilities

Main purpose of the job:

Oversee the entire purchase to pay cycle from requisition through payment, align with accounts payable and Financial Shared Services, drive process improvements and automation initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies and P2P norms. Monitor and facilitate compliance with P2P processes and manage spend and transaction reporting from SAP and Ariba.

* The leadership, development, and management of the team through the employment lifecycle
* Complete lift ordering with all localised parts across the business, ensuring escalators and elevators are delivered on the required date
* Drive down total costs of transactional purchasing (purchase orders, good receipting, and invoice matching)
* Ensure the team is appropriately resourced, informed, motivated, and trained to meet business objectives
* Directly manage the purchasing and logistics administrators
* Train where appropriate on new process improvements
* Ensure all lead times are met and published via the order confirmation process
* Monitor KPIs, report on team performance, and identify efficiency opportunities
* Ensure all works are covered by an accurate purchase order
* Integrate dual brand and escalators into the ordering process
* Liaise with claims department to process internal parts and supply claims with FQE
* Maintain vendor master data and resolve supplier issues
* Oversee the P2P cycle for vendor onboarding/off-boarding per procurement guidance; handle requisitions, PO creation, and timely goods receipting
* Ensure purchasing compliance with correct GL codes and authority limits
* Generate reports and insights on P2P performance
* Act as system owner for purchasing and ordering modules; collaborate with IT for improvements
* Drive initiatives to improve processes and implement new technologies to keep P2P efficient

Experience & Qualifications Required

* Demonstrated knowledge and application of purchase to pay concepts
* Professional experience in process management
* Experience working in a complex matrix organisation
* Ability to proactively build relationships and manage expectations across internal and external partners
* Experience in a complex multi-national business with a supply chain reporting background
* Experience with procurement management tools
* Experience integrating systems with third parties (suppliers, subcontractors, banks, HMRC, third party accreditation providers)
* Preparing budgets and forecasting purchasing trends
* Compile reports on supplier performance and statistics
* Full UK Driving Licence
