Salary: £26£28 per hour (circa £60,000£75,000+ depending on hours)

Overview We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Team Leader to oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of automation and conveyor systems across UK-based projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage teams effectively on-site while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead installation and assembly of automation systems including conveyors, control panels, and cable infrastructure
* Supervise, guide and support site teams and subcontractors
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards
* Manage site activities, materials, and resource allocation
* Support testing, commissioning, and system handover
* Act as the main on-site contact for clients and report progress to the Project Manager
* Maintain full compliance with health and safety procedures, including toolbox talks and site documentation
Requirements
* Proven experience leading electrical or automation installations (conveyors, ASRS or similar)
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and project documentation
* SSSTS or SMSTS certification
* ECS or CSCS card (essential)
* Electrical or Mechanical qualification
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work on projects across the UK
