Step into a vibrant business as an Account Manager, commanding up to £ 40,000 plus up to £5,000 Car Allowance and up to £5,000 discretionary bonus, pension and benefits, in Billericay, Essex! Primary Objective - Working within a strong team, the role is relationship focused geared at supporting the needs of our existing customers, whilst looking to seek out and nurture potential business opportunities.

You'll be involved within a thriving team, working with multiple customers to deliver on their goals. Your mission - To maintain the gold standard of supplying our valued customers and future ones with a premium service.

You will be an ambitious self-starter, willing to go that extra mile to show why our customers choose us. You will also have a good understanding of the workings around the supply chain relating to food ingredients and production.

This role is more than ticking boxes and following protocols. It's about innovation and growth and being able to demonstrate your negotiation skills. You'll understand the technical importance of seasonings in the context of food processing, leveraging your experience to deliver results.

The Location

Hybrid working - the office is based in Billericay, Essex, with travel across the UK, predominantly England.

Your Background

You’ll be an ambitious team player, having customer facing experience within the food industry. Ideally you'll be armed with the knowledge from within the ingredients industry and expertise to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

* The ability to communicate at all levels with stakeholders at all levels
* Develop and strengthen existing relationships with key decision makers by working closely to understand their primary drivers and seek solutions
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that needs of customers are addressed
* Look to take charge of any complaints that arise, and to track and resolve in a professional manner
* Collect and analyse data about consumer behaviour and use research tools to help enhance the offering
* Demonstrate sales techniques to help the business thrive by driving growth whilst working on retention
* Being prepared to challenge existing concepts both internal and external, to push boundaries
* Produce progress reports including notes from meetings and collate action points pointing to the way forwards
* Be able to present confidently to customers at meetings, discussing in detail options that are available
* Represent the company at professional groups and events and provide insights to the business regarding departmental matters
