Assembly Technician - 6 months - Edinburgh
We are seeking motivated individuals to assemble, test, and ship advanced radio communication equipment. This role involves working with electrical and electronic components, including computers, testing devices, telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and/or modify electronic and electrical equipment
* Follow build documentation accurately
* Enter and read data using basic computer skills
* Maintain a strong focus on quality and safety standards
* Operate torque tools and light fabrication equipment
* Perform soldering tasks (preferred but not required)
* Consistently lift up to 50 lbs
* Rotate between different job functions based on operational needs
* Follow verbal and written instructions precisely
* Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing steel-toed shoes
Qualifications:
* Good hand dexterity
* Strong attendance and reliability
* Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing tasks
* Ability to work 40+ hours weekly, including overtime and weekends
1st Shift
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
* Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
* GBP14 Per Hour - GBP20 Per Hour
