**System Engineer Position Summary**
We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to fill this critical role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and the ability to analyze complex requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in system architecture design, system trade studies, and requirements analysis. They should be familiar with systems proving, design assurance, and certification processes.
* Requirements Analysis: Ability to develop specifications and justifications for complex requirements.
* System Architecture Design: Experience in designing and modeling system architectures using industry-standard tools.
* System Trade Studies: Knowledge of system trade studies and the ability to inform design decisions.
This position requires a well-rounded skill set, including:
* Electro-Optical Systems: Familiarity with the physics and technologies involved in Electro-Optical systems is desirable but not required.
* Defence/Aerospace Industry Experience: Practical application of systems engineering processes to develop complex products in the defence/aerospace industry or high-integrity systems experience is ideal.
* Model-Based Engineering Techniques: Experience with model-based engineering techniques, including SysML.
* Systems Engineering Tools: Proficiency in using systems engineering tools, such as IBM DOORS Next, Rhapsody, etc.
* Engineering Work Packages: Ability to manage engineering work packages to deliver value outcomes, including coordination of other engineering disciplines and subject matter experts.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing stakeholders, including customers or suppliers.
* Aerospace Standards and Design Assurance Processes: Knowledge of Defence, Military, or other aerospace standards and design assurance processes is useful.
* AGILE Teams: Experience of working in AGILE teams and applying AGILE frameworks beneficial.
* Missile Related Technologies: Familiarity with missile-related technologies, such as imaging, sensors, guidance, navigation, propulsion, datalinks, energetics, etc.
