Hours: Week 1: 09.15 to 13.30 Monday to Friday, no break/ Week 2: 12.45 to 17.00 Monday to Friday

At Grundon, we are on the lookout for a dynamic, passionate, and driven Transport Administrator to join our Waste Collections team based in Banbury.

Reporting into the Banbury Site Manager you will play a key role in driving our mission forward by providing administrative support to ensure that the Depot's service meets and exceeds customer expectations.
The job holder will also provide back-up support to the Transport Office Co-ordinators during absences.
What will you do
Liaising with the Banbury Site Manager, Transport Manager, and Transfer Station Manager to support effective communication and coordination throughout the depot.
Recording and reporting daily weights, maintaining accurate records, and producing monthly reports for invoicing and audits.
Processing and coding invoices, managing petty cash, and assisting with payroll tasks, including timekeeping, bonuses, and attendance.
Supporting HR and Health & Safety activities such as onboarding new employees, coordinating inductions, and maintaining staff records.
Managing office and PPE supplies, including ordering, stock control, and supplier coordination.
Maintaining accurate employee information, including holiday, absence, training, and compliance records.
Acting as a point of contact for drivers and crew, handling general queries including payroll or HR-related questions.
Providing comprehensive administrative support handling correspondence, filing, meeting minutes, and documentation while ensuring smooth operation of office processes.
Assisting the Transport Office during absences to ensure consistent customer service and operational support (including use of ENWIS)
Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment.
Any other duties, such as ad hoc projects, as requested by the job holder's Manager/Supervisor or the Board of Directors that are within the skills and capabilities of the job holder .

About You
At least two years of experience working within a office environment, ideally within transport operations or the waste management sector.
Confident computer skills, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organisational and numeracy skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
Good understanding of the local operational area.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
