Individuals in MCA are responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive and robust Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA), also known as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and the execution of control activities thus improving identification and remediation of significant control issues and operational risk events in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Help execute control activities in support of Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA) program, also known as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
2. Assist in the MCA program, including the annual/semiannual/quarterly/monthly attestation, quality oversight, and related reporting.
3. Help identify, analyze, and assess potential risks, ensuring timely identification and remediation of significant control issues and operational events.
4. Execute MCA in accordance with the ORM Policy & Framework, as well as applicable Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
5. Assist to develop and maintain ORM tools and methodologies to support accurate and consistent assessments of the risk and control environment
6. Help provide recommendations to enhances or improve the MCA.
7. Support the MCA tracking and reporting inventory
8. Continue to help drive MCA best practices, transformation, and execution consistency across business/functions.
9. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Qualifications:
10. Extensive years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
11. Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
12. Strong knowledge in the development and execution for controls.
13. Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry.
14. Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
15. Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
16. Understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
17. Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
18. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level.
19. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
20. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
21. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
22. Proficiency in managing massive datasets using advanced Excel functions, Tableau and other data analytical platforms
23. Self motivated. Intellectual curiosity to stay abreast of modern technological advances and AI tools to enhance analytical capabilities.
24. Solid data analytical skills. Ability to integrate and analyze complex data from diverse reporting sources, identify key connections and produce comprehensive analytical outputs.
25. Demonstrated capability to handle multiple, concurrent analytical projects while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
26. Ability to adjust to shifting and competing priorities while maintaining productivity and attention to detail
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
