About Our Client
A not-for-profit housing provider managing thousands of homes across Manchester are currently looking to recruit a skilled/qualified electrician to work in the repairs and maintenance team
Job Description
You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with current regulations and safety standards. Tasks may include:
3. Electrical inspections and testing
4. Fault finding and repairs
5. Rewiring and upgrades
6. Installing lighting, sockets, and consumer units
7. Supporting other trades when required
You'll work across occupied and void properties, independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality service with minimal disruption to residents.
The Successful Applicant
8. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
9. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
10. 2391 testing/inspection would be beneficial
11. Full UK Driving Licence
12. Experience in domestic electrical maintenance, ideally within social housing
13. Strong communication and customer service skills
14. Ability to work safely and follow health & safety procedures
