Control Systems Project Engineer Ashby-de-la-ZouchAre you a Project Engineer with experience in control systems within the rail sector or other highly regulated industries?Do you enjoy working across the full project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning?Are you confident working with clients and managing technical interfaces?What's in it for you:Fantastic basic salaryFlexible / hybrid working (early starts or later finishes if preferred)12pm finish on FridaysOvertime and uplifts for any site work25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service)What will you be doing?Producing designs, specifications, drawings and technical documentationSupporting projects through design, development, testing and commissioningManaging technical interfaces with clients and internal teamsReviewing specifications and ensuring compliance with relevant standardsSupporting project delivery to meet technical, financial and time targetsInvestigating site issues and implementing corrective actionsAssisting with bids, quotations and project changesUndertaking site surveys and installation activities when requiredWhere you'll be doing it?You'll be joining a specialist engineering business delivering control and automation solutions across the rail sector. The team works across a range of systems including SCADA, BMS and safety-related solutions, supporting projects from concept through to delivery.What you'll need:Experience within the rail industry, ideally in control systemsStrong understanding of SCADA / control system technologiesKnowledge of relevant standards (BS, ISO, Network Rail, CDM)Ability to produce and review technical documentationExperience working across the full project lifecycleEngineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and designsStrong communication skills and ability to work with clientsExperience with PLC/SCADA tools or programming (desirable)We appreciate your CV may not be up to date.
