🕒 Hours: 38 hours per week (rota incl. evenings, weekends & nights)
📄 Contract: Permanent
💷 Salary: £25,549 - £28,612 per annum
⭐ Enhanced pay for weekends & waking nights

About the Role
We are recruiting Children's Residential Workers to support children and young people with disabilities and behaviours that may challenge in a caring, homely residential setting. The service uses a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach and offers a wide range of engaging activities including play, sensory activities, outdoor trips, baking, music, and community involvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver person-centred care and support
2. Support care planning and daily routines
3. Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
4. Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
5. Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
6. Work flexibly across a rota, including evenings, weekends, and nights
Essential Criteria
7. Level 3 qualification in a care-related subject
8. Minimum 6 months' experience in care (children or adults with learning disabilities)
9. Good communication and teamwork skills
10. Willingness to provide personal care
11. Registered or willing to register with NISCC
