Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Location: Erith About the Role: This permanent position provides comprehensive technical support to our Client's Technical department across all project stages: tenders, pre-construction, design, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities: Produce and manage RFIs. Review project specifications and tender offers for technical compliance. Support Sales with tender clarifications and exclusions. Verify material/equipment compliance and costs. Contribute to Project Execution Plans (PEP). Support pre-construction and prefabrication/Off-Site Assembly design. Produce technical submittals and installation information. Procure major plant & equipment. Attend design meetings/workshops; review/produce drawings/schematics. Interface with internal control teams. Review mechanical system commissionability. Support testing & commissioning. Produce As-Built / Handover documentation. Maintain accurate records. Basic Autocad / Revit skills preferred. Qualifications & Person Specification: Previous engineering experience, preferably in construction.
