Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food preparation and production. Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of food quality.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes while also contributing creative ideas for new menu items.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
* Help set menus and standards in the kitchen
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable, along with excellent communication skills.
