Job Purpose The Senior Sales and Procurement Co-ordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, working as part of a collaborative and supportive sales team. This role requires confident communication with contractors and suppliers, strong multitasking skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Accountabilities
* Process sales and purchase orders in line with company procedures, liaising with Credit Control where necessary.
* Verify orders before forwarding to the warehouse and accounts teams.
* Organise direct deliveries by liaising with suppliers and customers.
* Allocate stock against daily orders to enable timely invoicing.
* Generate and send customer invoices daily.
* Handle telephone and email enquiries from contractors, suppliers, and the external sales team.
* Prepare quotations for contractors, ensuring adherence to pricing and margin guidelines; review quotations before issue.
* Ensure effective communication between the internal sales office and external sales team, updating the project database with all relevant project information.
* Check and authorise purchase invoices.
* Resolve customer invoice queries, contra-charges, and credit requests in collaboration with Credit Control.
* Carry out administrative tasks, including logging design requests and distributing drawings.
* Arrange contractor collections and process related credits.
* Notify contractors of upcoming deliveries.
* Log supplier deliveries and batch numbers.
* Provide guidance and training to junior staff, supporting their career development and identifying training needs.

Qualifications
* A-Level or equivalent.
Experience
* Sales-related Environment: Relevant experience in a sales-related environment or similar where relationship management is paramount.
* Customer Service: Experience in dealing with customers and clients, delivering excellent customer service.
* Good Telephone Manner: Professional telephone manner.
* Initiative & Teamwork: Experience working on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Relationship Management: Experience working with a wide variety of internal and external contacts.
Knowledge
* Office-based working environment.
