MainResponsibilities
* Becomethe focal point for the Subsea Robotics offshore team and assistwith technical / fault findingissues.
* Provide technical input toplan and schedule safe and efficient systemmobilisations.
* Support with offshoreinstallation of ROV systems and preparation of work scope andprocedures for system mobilisation / demobilisation.
* Assist with projectrelated equipment selection suitability and interfacerequirements.
* Lead audits of RovcoROV systems prior to mobilisation to ensure conformance withinternal and external standards and projectrequirements.
* Support the offshorecrew and workshop personnel with ROV maintenance and repair tasksinclude task prioritisation and scheduling this will include sitevisits.
* Liaise with all projectstakeholders involved in the project execution and operation ofSubsea Robotic systems.
* Work inconjunction with the Subsea Robotics offshore teams to maintain andcoordinate system certificationpackages.
* Procurement of consumableand spare parts whenrequired.
* Monitor assettracking.
* Participate in regularproject progress review and internal and external design reviewmeetings.
* Liaise with vendors andsubcontractors involved in the certification and servicing of Rovcoassets.
* Managing short and longtermstorage of equipment.
* Undertake anyother office duties as the company may reasonablyrequire.
Youshould apply if youhave:
Essential:
* Backgroundin Electrical Mechanical or Hydraulicsystems
* Strong Technical ROVexperience
* Good practical andtheoretical knowledge and experience of electrical and electronicsystems
* In depth knowledge andexperience of a wide variety of Subsea Survey and Inspectionequipment
* History of fault findingand bringing forward ideas to promote technical discussions /improvements passing on knowledge and mentoringteams.
* Willing and able to takeresponsibilities to meet projectdemands
* Good problemsolving skillsand practical thinking
* Good peoplemanagement skills
* Good level of ITliteracy (Microsoft office)
* Abilityto drive a project forward operationally and suggest areas whereefficiencies can be found
* Ability togenerate final projectdocumentation
Desirable:
* Experiencein Asset Management
* Experience oftraining and coaching more teammembers
* Experience of working fromboth large construction / survey vessels and smallcraft
* Experience in both work classand inspection class ROVs &AUVs
* Subcontractormanagement
