Description and Requirements
Profile Summary
Seeking a highly experienced and strategic Digital Workplace Solutions & Services Architect to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad and deep technical expertise in conventional, widely prevalent digital workplace technologies and cutting-edge AI technologies, coupled with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex solutions for global customers of various sizes and industries.
This role is a perfect blend of a technical leader, a trusted business advisor, and a hands-on architect. He/she will be responsible for leading the end-to-end digital workplace transformation journey for internal teams and clients, from initial strategy and business case development to technical design, implementation oversight, and governance. As the technical authority on digital workplace, he/she must partner with pre-sales and delivery teams to translate business challenges into technical solutions and ensuring clients achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* AI-Driven Strategy & Architecture: Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to identify business-critical use cases for AI within the digital workplace. Architect and design enterprise-grade solutions that leverage AI for tasks such as intelligent search, knowledge management, automated workflows, and conversational interfaces.
* Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and IT leaders, guiding them on digital workplace strategy, roadmaps, and best practices.
* Solution Architecture: Design and architect comprehensive digital workplace solutions that integrate a diverse range of technologies to meet a client's unique business needs, security requirements, and long-term goals.
* Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor technical teams to build AI enabled DWP solutions, create reusable templates of architectural designs, ensuring adherence to quality standards, architectural governance, and project timelines.
* Global Client Engagement: Work with a diverse, global technical teams and clientele across various business verticals (e.g., travel & hospitality, healthcare, retail, manufacturing), understanding their specific business models, regulatory environments, and user personas.
* Pre-Sales & Business Development enablement: Actively participate in the pre-sales process, including client discovery sessions, technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) where necessary.
* Technology & Market Acumen: Stay current with emerging digital workplace trends, technologies, and vendor roadmaps to provide clients with the most innovative and effective solutions.
* Change Management & Adoption: Collaborate with change management and adoption specialists to ensure solutions are not just technically sound but also effectively adopted by end-users.
* Documentation & Governance: Create high-quality technical documentation, including architecture blueprints, design specifications, and governance frameworks.
Technical Expertise & Required Technologies
The successful expert must possess deep architectural knowledge and hands-on experience with technologies across the following key pillars of the digital workplace
* Artificial Intelligence & Automation:
* Concepts: Practical understanding of LLMs, intelligent search (e.g., Microsoft Graph API, AI-powered search), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
* Platforms: Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents), Google Dialogflow, IBM Watson Assistant, and other conversational AI platforms.
* Services: Azure AI Services, Google AI Platform, AWS AI/ML services (e.g., Amazon Lex, SageMaker).

* Platforms: Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online), Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom.

* Platforms: Microsoft Intune, MECM, Jamf Pro, VMWare Workspace ONE, Citrix Endpoint Management, Ivanti Endpoint Manager.

* Productivity & Automation:
* Platforms: Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), ServiceNow, and other RPA/workflow automation tools.

* Platforms: Microsoft Azure Entra ID, Microsoft Active Directory, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, and other SSO/MFA solutions.
* Security & Governance:
* Platforms: SentinelOne, Absolute, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Centre (e.g., Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), and Information Protection.
* Cloud & Infrastructure:
* Platforms: Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure): Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix, or VMware Horizon.
Qualifications
* A technical bachelor's or master's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* 10+ years of experience in a consulting or solutions architecture role, with a strong focus on digital workplace transformation.
* Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions that integrate AI/ML technologies into business processes.
* Demonstrated experience working with enterprise-level customers globally and across different business sectors.
* Proven ability to lead complex, large scale projects from ideation to completion.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are highly desirable.
* Strong business acumen and the ability to link technology solutions to quantifiable business benefits (e.g., ROI, TCO).
Ability to travel to client sites as required.
