The Role
We are looking for an experienced History Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages KS3 AND KS4. This is a part-time role on a long-term rotation schedule:

Week 1: 2 days – Tuesday and Friday

Week 2: 3 days – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
This schedule provides flexibility while ensuring continuity for students. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging History lessons and supporting student development across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the school curriculum.
*
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students.
*
Monitor, assess, and provide feedback on student progress.
*
Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
*
Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and support school initiatives.
*
Encourage student participation in History through extracurricular activities where appropriate.
Person Specification

Qualified teacher with experience teaching History up to KS3 and KS4
*
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
*
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
*
Flexible, adaptable, and reliable, with a commitment to supporting students’ learning.
