About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join our clients HR team, focusing on Employee Relations and Organisational Change. This role will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving initiatives that foster a high-performance culture, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and support smooth organisational transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
* Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary issues, grievances, conflicts, and investigations.
* Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of ER cases.
* Partner with leadership to proactively identify and mitigate employee relations risks.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices to advise the business effectively.
Organisational Change:
* Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, mergers, and process redesigns, ensuring employee impact is considered and managed effectively.
* Work with leaders to design and implement change management strategies that increase adoption, engagement, and retention.
* Lead or support communication plans, training, and workshops during periods of transformation.
* Provide HR analytics and insights to assess change readiness and monitor the impact of organisational initiatives.
HR Business Partnering:
* Act as a strategic partner to assigned business units, providing HR expertise to support operational and strategic objectives.
* Partner with leaders to drive people strategies that align with organisational goals.
* Support workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning efforts.
* Foster a positive employee experience and support initiatives to enhance engagement and retention.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in employee relations, HR business partnering, and organisational change management.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, ER processes, and change management frameworks.
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
* Experience in managing sensitive and complex HR situations with discretion and professionalism.
