We are looking for a passionate and strategic Sales Manager to join us atDelta Hotels by Marriott Bexleyheath. Our hotel is a well-established destination for business, leisure and events, and we have exciting times ahead.
This is a key leadership role one where you will shape the sales strategy, build long-lasting client relationships and inspire your team to deliver their very best.
What the role involves
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the sales function and be a visible and confident presence across the business. You will work closely with key clients, internal stakeholders and Marriotts wider commercial teams to drive results and increase market share.
Your day-to-day will include:
Managing a portfolio of corporate, group and event accounts while identifying new revenue opportunities
Strengthening existing client relationships and creating new ones through sales calls, show rounds, networking, FAM trips and trade events
Collaborating with our Event Management team to ensure smooth transitions and brilliant customer experiences
Coaching and motivating your team to hit targets and grow in confidence
Keeping a close eye on the market and competitor landscape to inform your strategy
Representing Delta Hotels by Marriott Bexleyheath in the local community to increase brand visibility and partnerships
Working closely with Marriotts off-property sales channels to align activity and avoid duplication
What we are looking for
You are commercially sharp, people-focused and results-driven. You know how to lead with heart and clarity, and you have a genuine passion for hospitality.
You will bring:
A strong track record in hotel sales or a similar commercial leadership role
Confidence when managing clients, leading a team and presenting opportunities
A talent for coaching others and a hands-on approach to leadership
Commercial curiosity, attention to detail and a calm, thoughtful manner
A warm, people-oriented personality and a positive, can-do attitude
