Were looking for an experienced Shift Mechanic to join our Ayr team.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair the Companys vehicles to the standards set by Stagecoach and DVSA.
* Work on a 5 out of 7 days basis as part of a team of engineers.
* Pass on your skills and experience to our future engineers through supporting our engineering apprentices.
Qualifications
* Completed a recognised apprenticeship.
* Have minimum of 4 years as an apprentice under your belt.
Additional Information
Our Ayr Depot operates a fleet of around 60 vehicles, including electric buses, and is currently recruiting for a skilled Shift Mechanic. We are looking for someone who is friendly, flexible, reliable and takes pride in their work. You should be able to work on your own initiative and enjoy being part of a friendly and dedicated team.
As a Shift Mechanic you will work on a 5 out of 7 days basis, and your role will include maintaining and repairing the Companys vehicles to the strict standards set by both Stagecoach and DVSA.
Youll be one of a team of engineers who maintains and repairs a modern and varied fleet of vehicles so our fantastic customers can travel safely and comfortably every day to healthcare and employment, to shopping and leisure, and to see friends and family.
