Our client is looking to recruit several Material Operatives to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & driven candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.
Duties:
1. Receive incoming goods; check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
2. Accurately sort, label, and store goods while arranging storage to optimize warehouse space.
3. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
4. Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, identifying and reporting hazards.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping and machine care tasks.
6. Work collaboratively with team members and support staff to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
7. Engage in continuous training and process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
9. Attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy and quality control.
10. Commitment to safety and adherence to HSE regulations.
11. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Education & Experience:
1. No prior experience required; training will be provided.
2. Familiarity with warehouse tools, systems, and methodologies is an advantage.
3. Flexibility - Willing to cross train and work across the full campus. MHE training on a variety of equipment.
4. Warehouse Etiquette - Professionalism, adhering to HSE requirements.
5. MHE experience preferred but not essential. In house training will be provided.
Shifts & Pay:
Working 37.5 hpw across 3 shift pattern rotation:
1. Nights: Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm - 6.00am
2. Days: Monday to Friday 6.00am - 2.00pm
3. Backs: Monday to Thursday 2.00pm - 10.00pm and Friday 6.00am - 7.10pm
Annual pay: £26651.78
