More about your role
We're delivering one of Scotland's most significant housing projects – over 1,300 new homes on the outskirts of Edinburgh as part of the city's western expansion. This development will create vibrant mixed-tenure communities, landscaped green spaces, improved transport links, and new educational and commercial facilities, helping to address Scotland's housing emergency.
As a Development Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Project Director and Head of Development throughout the development cycle, from inception to completion. You'll help manage and deliver the masterplan and individual phases, prepare commercially viable financial appraisals, and coordinate consultant teams to achieve planning approvals. You'll also assist with bid submissions for new opportunities, manage budgets, and ensure gateway papers and reporting are prepared to a high standard.
This role will see you working closely with multiple stakeholders, local planning authorities, and internal teams, while reviewing and optimising schemes to maximise returns. You'll also have the chance to network externally and promote Places for People Developments as we continue to grow.
