We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to take ownership of our client's accounting function. If you thrive in a busy, varied role and enjoy seeing the bigger picture of a business’s financial health, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. Your duties will include:
* Processing invoices, expenses and reconciling supplier statements
* Ensuring all bank transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
* Assisting with VAT calculations and submissions
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including preparing reports and statements
* Assisting with payroll processing
* Maintaining accurate financial records in line with regulations and company policies
Requirements
* Proven accounting experience - preferably part-qualified ACCA / CIMA (all candidates will be considered included QBE and AAT applicants)
* Excellent proficiency with Xero
* A solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
