Job Description:
The Early Help Service offers support and advice to families with children aged 0-18 years in Enfield. We seek enthusiastic Case Workers with at least 2 years of experience to support families, prevent family breakdowns, and reduce statutory service involvement. The role involves community and office-based work, with a hybrid working model of 2-3 days in the office. This is not a social worker role.
* Experience working directly with children, young people, and families in homes or community settings.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse communities, partner agencies, and voluntary organizations.
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, engaging with parents, professionals, and voluntary sectors to meet complex needs and achieve positive outcomes.
* Strong communication skills, including negotiation, problem-solving, and report writing. Ability to keep accurate records and use IT systems such as Outlook, MS Office, and electronic case management systems.
Knowledge:
* Understanding of early help and integrated processes.
* Knowledge of parenting issues, vulnerabilities, safeguarding, and child protection legislation.
* Awareness of empowerment strategies and accredited parenting programmes.
Qualifications & Professional Registration:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Child Care, Education, or Health.
* Enhanced DBS Check.
