* Lead and manage the commercial aspects of water infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, develop and manage project budgets, and track expenditure.
* Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.

* Mentor and guide junior members of the quantity surveying team.

The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
* Lead and manage the commercial aspects of water infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, develop and manage project budgets, and track expenditure.
* Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations and industry standards within the water sector.
* Mentor and guide junior members of the quantity surveying team.
* Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
* Contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.
What Were Looking For
* A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., BSc Quantity Surveying, MSc Quantity Surveying, or equivalent).
* Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water sector, including experience on projects such as water treatment works, wastewater treatment works, pipelines, and reservoirs.
* Excellent understanding of water industry regulations, best practices, and cost control methodologies.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to accurately forecast costs and manage budgets effectively.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Proactive and solutions:oriented approach to problem:solving.
