The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and proactive Operational Fleet Controller to join our growing Account Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in managing high-profile client contracts, building strong relationships, and ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of fleet management.
From overseeing in-fleeting and de-fleeting, to monitoring performance and delivering client reporting, you’ll be at the heart of our operation—making sure our customers receive an exceptional service every time. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, acting as their go-to contact.
2. Manage client activity planning, including storage requirements and capacity needs.
3. Oversee all elements of fleet management, including optimisation, utilisation, and risk reduction.
4. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
5. Analyse performance data (KPI, SLA, CSI) and take proactive steps to improve outcomes.
6. Provide accurate forecasting and support with invoicing and budget management.
7. Prepare and deliver clear, engaging client presentations and reports.
8. Monitor industry trends and client activity to anticipate and plan for peaks and changes.
9. Train and support clients on internal platforms when required.
10. Represent the company with professionalism and confidence in every interaction.
About You
You’ll be a confident communicator and natural problem-solver, able to juggle multiple priorities while keeping a clear focus on client needs. With a strong eye for detail and the ability to interpret data, you’ll enjoy taking ownership and driving performance improvements.
This is a role for someone who’s organised, resilient, and enthusiastic—someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Requirements
11. Previous experience in Account Management and Project Management.
12. Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
13. Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
14. Confident in interpreting data and presenting to senior stakeholders.
15. Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
16. Positive, proactive, and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable
17. Knowledge of fleet operations or experience within the automotive sector.
