This is a home-based, field service role, ideal for an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge who enjoys working independently while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites across the UK to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of generator brands Perform planned and reactive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, inspections, and performance testing Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and rectification of mechanical and electrical generator faults Undertake installation and commissioning of generator systems, both portable and fixed Complete load bank testing, performance verification, and post-installation testing Diagnose and repair alternators, batteries, control panels, wiring, ATS, and associated power systems Maintain accurate and detailed service reports, documenting work completed and parts used Communicate clearly with customers, explaining faults, solutions, and operational guidance Participate in an on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns where req...
