The Role
The school is seeking a committed Assistant SENCO who can support the coordination and delivery of SEND provision across the school. The successful Assistant SENCO will work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure that students with additional needs are effectively supported in the classroom.
Responsibilities of the Assistant SENCO include:
* Supporting the SENCO in coordinating SEND provision across the school
* Assisting with EHCP reviews, documentation, and SEND administration
* Working with teachers to ensure appropriate classroom strategies and interventions are in place
* Monitoring and tracking the progress of students with SEND
* Liaising with parents, external agencies, and support services
* Supporting the delivery of intervention programmes and targeted support
