1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant – SEND Specialist School

Salary: £89–£103 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex needs? A well-respected specialist provision for students aged 3–16 with a range of additional needs—including emotional, social, and behavioural challenges—is looking for a resilient and compassionate 1:1 Support Assistant to join their dedicated team.
This is a fulfilling role working closely with a pupil who requires personalised, consistent support to access learning, regulate behaviour, and build confidence in a nurturing and structured environment.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 support to a pupil across the school day
* Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development
* Working collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external specialists
* Acting as a trusted adult and positive role model
* Encouraging independence, self-esteem, and inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
