We are looking to recruit some Class 2 ADR (cat 3)Fuel drivers. This is for our client in Chippenham. This is a PERM role, please see further details below.
1. Basic annual salary for the Class 2 ADR driver role – £37,000
2. Hours / Work pattern / start times – 40 hour week – Monday – Friday with winter Saturday rota 8 weekends per year.
3. Overtime – Overtime available and expected during peak times (winter) and dependant on demand all year round
4. No minimum age
5. Clean licence preferred but no more than 6 points
6. No minimum required experience in Class 2 or ADR but would be preferred. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
7. Driving the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with all current legislation and company guidelines.
8. Ensuring that the vehicle is in a safe & legal condition.
9. Reporting any accidents & incidents to management.
10. Managing difficult delivery conditions and reporting any unsafe sites as quickly as possible.
11. Ability to work across a 7-day shift pattern.
12. Loading & discharging in a sensible manner and in accordance with company policy & procedures.
13. Loading from terminals (fuel samples must be taken at terminal and site).
14. Obtaining Customer signature before commencement of delivery
Requirements
15. HGV class C driving license
16. ADR cat 3 & Tanks
17. Drivers Qualification Card
18. Digital Tacho Card
19. Strong oral and written communication skills
20. Strong customer services skills and values Strong values and ethos around health and safety
21. Clean Driving License is desirable.
22. Experience working with hazardous liquid products is desirable.
23. Experience loading product from terminals is desirable.
24. Willingness to work increased hours during peak trading times
25. Willingness to be redeployed to alternative depot locations in proximity as required on an ad hoc basis is essential
