Job Summary
25 hours per week. Term Time Only, 38 weeks per year. An Assistant Cook is required at a busy catering operation at Ysgol Rhiwabon High School. The person will be responsible, with supervision, for the efficient day to day operation of the kitchen and will be expected to take full charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Cook in Charge.
Responsibilities
* Skilled cooking duties connected with the range of meals served and an understanding of healthy cooking practices.
* To carry out the full range of Cook in Charge duties when required.
* To operate a cashless system.
* To carry out stock checks and clerical duties.
* Supervision and control of hygiene health and safety.
* Undertake any duties which are commensurate with the general nature and grade of the post.
Qualifications and Requirements
* An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
