We are seeking dependable, honest, hard working individuals to join our team of cleaners as a daytime supervisor. Please note this job is located in the Norwich area with the applicant being able to commute between jobs (A driver is required, but a van can be supplied). You will assist, and works alongside other staff members in their cleaning tasks. You will ensure work areas are cleaned by staff to company's standards and be the first point of contact for staff with issues on shift. This may also mean dealing with clients to resolve these issues.
Team leaders will train new staffs on work procedures and on operation of cleaning equipment. They will ensure all cleaning equipment is well maintained and is safe for use. They will also undertake spot checks of premises and staff. They will also team lead and arrange deep cleans and may need to support with carpet cleaning jobs. Team leaders may be required to attend relevant training courses such as: PAT training, First Aid Training, advanced H&S training, advanced cleaning methods training or customer service training. These may be online or in person and any time will be paid for.
Responsibilities:
* Check cleaning equipment condition.
* Check work done by other staff.
* Communicate and relate effectively at the workplace with both clients and staff.
* Demonstrate understanding of cleaning methods and processes.
* Implement work plans and follow up on up job specifications for allocated premises.
* Inform staff of clients' requests and follow up to ensure request is done.
* Instruct and delegate tasks to team.
* Overseeand carry outday-to-day cleaning operations
* Provide appropriate guidance and training for staff.
* Resolve problems and make decisions atoperational level.
* Train newstaff on work procedures and operation of equipment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
