Job Title
Senior Physiotherapist – Band 6 (fixed term contract). Maternity Leave Cover.
Responsibilities
* Deliver assessment and treatment of patients presenting within Orthopaedic Trauma and Community Falls and Rapid Access (RAFT) services.
* Provide evidence-based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well‑being, self‑management and optimise independent functioning across all areas of life.
* Work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team, building social networks and partnering with other agencies to address patient needs.
* Support a 7‑day rota and on‑call rota.
* Contribute to service planning, development and teaching; model high‑quality care and motivate the team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 5 physiotherapist who has completed core rotations and is ready for a senior rotational role, or an existing Band 6 physiotherapist seeking trauma or falls experience.
* Self‑motivated, aspirational, able to assess effectively and promptly in a busy environment.
* Confidence in enabling patients in self‑management and personalised care.
* Willingness to enhance operational management skills and support CPD programmes.
