Senior Finance Technology Business Partner – TieTalent
Reporting to the Head of Business Technology, the Technology Business Partner (ITBP) serves as the strategic interface between the IT department and assigned business units. The core purpose is to align technology solutions with business strategy, drive value from IT investments, and manage the relationship to ensure technology supports and enables business objectives. The ITBP acts as a trusted advisor to the business, providing strategic consulting on technology-related initiatives and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders, acting as the primary IT point of contact for strategic initiatives.
* Understand business challenges, opportunities, and strategic goals to proactively identify and propose technology solutions.
* Strategy & Roadmap Development: Partner with business units to co-create and develop a technology roadmap that aligns with their strategic plans and priorities.
* Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet internal and external customer needs.
* Prioritize projects and initiatives based on defined criteria such as return on investment, strategic alignment, and business impact.
* Solution Delivery & Project Oversight: Assist the business sponsor in creating robust business cases, defining KPIs to measure success.
* Gather high-level business requirements and define project scope, collaborating with business analysts.
* Collaborate with architecture, operations, and security teams to ensure proposed solutions are compliant with company standards and architectural principles.
* Ensure a clean handover of project initiation documents to the Project Delivery team for execution.
* Monitor solution implementation and review post-launch performance against KPIs to ensure benefits are realized.
* Governance & Communication: Communicate IT decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to business stakeholders; manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.
* Work with service delivery managers to understand operational pain points and incorporate solutions into the technology roadmap.

Experience & Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in a Business/Technology role.
* Experience within Retail & Finance functions is highly desirable.
* Proven track record of delivering significant and complex change programs.
* Experience working with project delivery teams to implement projects on time, to budget, and to quality standards.
* Demonstrable experience in managing senior stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
* Sound understanding of the software development lifecycle and project management frameworks.
* Experience with key tools such as JIRA and Google Suite.
