Overview
Following our client39s successful launch of their Newbury (Reading) unit earlier this year they are expanding their commercial team there. The Newbury team has flourished, having secured further long-term cyclical contracts beyond its budget, creating a stable order book for its bright future. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can share in this growth ethos. Honesty, integrity and teamwork will be at the heart of what they do. There is a perm full-time option, and they can consider someone working part-time if that is preferred and works better for you.
Ideally they are looking for Quantity Surveyor experience dealing with and working with direct labour teams, timesheets, etc. Background in brickwork, plastering, roofing, civils, or new builds in terms of QS would be suitable, along with tendering, estimating and refurbishments. Dealing with direct teams is a big plus. They operate a dedicated Painting and Decorating and related refurbishment service to public, private, residential and educational sectors. Painting background isnt essential, but experience with direct labour teams and related trades is advantageous.
The company has been established and leading in property services for over 75 years, across England and Wales, with more than 18 locations and 32 business units. They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their paintings team. The main customer base is Social Housing, Council/Local Authority, and Housing Associations, so highlight any experience in these sectors or projects as this is advantageous. They offer an exceptional benefits package and a long-term prosperous future.
