Job Overview
In this role, you'll contribute to delivering excellent propositions and products for customers, gaining valuable exposure and tackling exciting challenges. You will play a key role in growing the Commercial Lending Team with substantial investment and strategic plans to build a strong business for commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Be customer-obsessed, responsible for identifying, designing, and delivering customer-centric commercial propositions and product developments.
* Work with the Commercial Lending Team to create insight-led products that meet market needs and provide commercial benefits. Lead product development initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
* Manage a portfolio of ongoing changes, assess impacts, and ensure alignment with group strategy and regulatory guidance.
Candidate Profile
* Understanding of financial products and their value creation for business and customers.
* Strong stakeholder network and industry knowledge, including competitors.
* Experience in delivering change, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
* Leadership experience, capable of motivating and developing teams, including remote leadership.
* Knowledge of lending onboarding operations, especially within commercial mortgages, with proven loan application experience.
* Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations.
* Experience in process improvement and a focus on efficiency and customer service.
* Commitment to providing excellent customer service and experience in broker relations.
