The Role: As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for first-line maintenance support across multiple departments, with a focus on electrical diagnostics, equipment reliability, and ensuring minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Deliver advanced electrical fault-finding and repair on production machinery. Carry out maintenance, calibration, and servicing of vacuum pumps and production equipment. Lead root cause analysis of breakdowns and drive long-term corrective solutions. Coordinate day-to-day activities of the maintenance team, including assigning tasks and overseeing contractors. Plan and execute preventativeand predictive maintenance programmes. Maintain accurate logs, maintenance records, and KPI reporting. Champion health & safety compliance in all maintenance operations. Mentor and support junior team members in technical best practices. What Were Looking For: A background in a similar Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing or industrial settings. Strong electrical experience, ideally with formal qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 18th Edition or equivalent). Experience working with vacuum equipment, and production line machinery. Confident in leading maintenance activities and working collaboratively across departments.
