This opportunity is based at our newly refurbished office in Mandale Business Park, just outside Durham City Centre. The Role As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of a high-performing desk, managing the full 360° recruitment cycle for white-collar permanent roles within the construction industry. You will work with an established client base while actively developing new relationships and contributing to strategic business initiatives. Key Responsibilities: * Lead recruitment activity across a defined market, delivering high-quality placements * Strengthen relationships with key clients and identify new business opportunities * Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants * Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives * Maintain a consultative approach with clients and candidates, adding value throughout * Represent Elvet Recruitment professionally at networking events and industry forums Candidate Profile We are seeking an experienced recruitment professional with a proven track record in permanent placements, ideally within the construction or technical sectors. You should be commercially astute, self-motivated, and capable of operating with autonomy.
