Early Years Teaching Assistant - Reading \n\nEYFS Educator - ASAP Start \n\nLevel 3 or Degree Required \n\nOne of the top primary schools in Reading are searching for an Early Years teaching assistant to join them ASAP. The Head Teacher is looking for a pro-active and personable graduate teaching assistant with an excellent academic background.
The teaching assistant will be supporting the EYFS classes so they are looking for an EYFS specialist.\n\nGraduate Teaching Assistant or Level 3 Teaching Assistant\nEYFS TA\nEarly Years Teaching Assistant\nExperience working with children required\nOutstanding Primary School\nASAP Start\n£89-£100 per day pay rate \nReading\nOpportunity for teacher training in September 2026 \n\nEducation to a degree level is required for this position. Ideally, the school are looking for someone with a strong academic background and a 2:2 or above. Previous experience working with children is required for this position whether it be in a similar role or in a different setting such as tutoring.\n\nThe teaching assistant will hold responsibilities of general classroom support, involving helping the class teacher with preparation of lessons as well as delivery and helping children with their learning.
The main focus will be numeracy and literacy; however extra-curricular activities will also be a part of the role. The teaching assistant will be working with small groups and also 1:1 with the children for example to help them with their reading.
