Skanska Building Services are experts in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) engineering. We have extensive experience delivering a huge range of projects in sectors including commercial, educational, Defence and Data Centres. Our team is looking for a Project Manager to join the team in Cambridge.
You will be responsible for the project, effectively and professionally leading the day-to-day management within a large scale multi-disciplinary commercial project, including the specific scope discipline such as design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover within the Skanska JV building construction team.
What you’ll do
* Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
* Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs and carbon.
* Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensure full implementation and compliance.
* Ensure lessons learnt are captured and shared with the wider business for consideration on future projects.
* Understand/develop/scrutinise/deliver/monitor end to end programme. Responsible for creating Plan Bs in relation to specific package responsibility.
What you’ll bring to the role
* Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
* Proven track record in successfully delivering within a large scale MEP contract as part of a team.
* Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS.
* Proven track record in leading teams and projects.
