Job Role:
You’ll be leading a team of Internal Account Managers who support some of the UK’s top enterprise resellers. Your focus will be on driving individual and team sales performance, building strong internal and external relationships, and maintaining efficient, scalable processes to support sustainable growth.
We’re looking for someone who’s people-first but commercially driven — someone who sets clear expectations, leads with purpose, and supports their team to deliver results through structure, clarity, and energy.
If you join us, this is what your day to day will look like:
* Lead, coach and develop a high-performing internal sales team to exceed revenue, margin and activity-based targets.
* Set clear individual objectives that align with overall business goals and track progress through structured 1:1s and reviews.
* Foster a positive, success-oriented culture where people are empowered to grow, share best practices and win together.
* Own team performance metrics, forecast accuracy and sales reporting — identifying trends and acting quickly to close gaps.
* Support career development through tailored training plans and progression pathways.
* Act as the primary escalation point for internal and customer issues, ensuring resolution and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with key departments — including Product, Credit, Customer Services, IT and Finance — to drive operational excellence and remove friction from the sales process.
* Work closely with enterprise vendor partners (HPE, DellEMC, etc.) to build strategic relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
* Champion new tools, processes and systems that improve efficiency, visibility and accountability.
* Lead and deliver company-wide initiatives and team-specific campaigns, ensuring engagement and measurable impact.

Is this the role for you?
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience, and the desire to develop in other areas:
* Proven success in a B2B sales leadership role, ideally within IT distribution or technology channel sales.
* Strong understanding of Tier 1 brands (HPE, DellEMC) and their go-to-market strategies.
* Experience managing people — with a coaching, motivating, and goal-oriented approach.
* Commercially astute with strong financial awareness, able to balance revenue growth with profitability and working capital.
* Comfortable navigating complexity and change, with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Highly organised with a structured approach to performance management and process discipline.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
* Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
