Job Description:
NOCN is the market-leading provider of apprentice End Point Assessments in England, appointed to assess more apprenticeship standards than any other provider. NOCN is government-registered and independent to ensure robust and accurate assessments of apprentices.
We are looking for suitably qualified individuals to become freelance contracted End Point Assessors for the MOET apprenticeship standard.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can assess Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical engineering.
Location: Remote/Hybrid - travel required to sites
Hours: Worker Contract, Freelance
The Role:
The Freelance End Point Assessor will evaluate candidates in the final stages of their apprenticeship through Knowledge Assessment, Practical Observation, and a Technical Interview. Full training on internal quality assurance processes will be provided by NOCN.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assess apprentices against relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours throughout the Work Based Project, Portfolio of Evidence, and Professional Discussion/Panel Interview as per the End Point Assessment plan.
* Upload assessment reports promptly, adhering to NOCN's service level agreements.
* Prepare for assessments efficiently and identify gaps in apprentices' KSBs.
* Build rapport with apprentices to facilitate optimal performance during assessments.
* Maintain current CPD in relevant subject areas to keep knowledge up-to-date.
* Represent NOCN professionally during assessments.
* Adhere to GDPR and ensure data security.
* Moderate other assessors' work in line with internal quality assurance procedures.
Role Requirements:
* Hold a Level 3 assessing qualification
* Possess a Level 4 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
* Maintain relevant and current CPD within the plant maintenance industry
