Job Title: Multi-Trade Engineer (Responsive Repairs)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 4:30 pm
Salary: £40,977.48 per annum
We're currently looking for a Multi-Trade Engineer to join the responsive repairs team at a dynamic, award-winning housing association known for it's stability, innovation, and bold future plans.
Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied residential properties, ensuring all work is completed to a professional and safe standard.
2. Assessing repair requirements on-site, identifying cost-effective and appropriate solutions, and completing works with minimal disruption to residents.
3. Liaising with the Planning Team to coordinate schedules, optimise productivity, and ensure efficient job completion.
4. Participating in the out-of-hours emergency repairs rota, providing responsive support as required.
5. Diagnosing faults effectively, determining the most suitable and value-driven repair solution, and arranging materials as needed.
6. Using a personal digital assistant (PDA) or similar device to manage work schedules, document progress, and maintain accurate job records.
7. Undertaking any other reasonable duties or projects as requested by your line manager.
Requirements:
8. Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
9. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or Carpentry (preferred)
