Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in retail fit‑out? Have you successfully delivered projects for Marks & Spencer or similar national retailers?
We’re looking for a confident, organised, and driven Project Manager to take the lead on high-spec fit‑out projects across the UK. You’ll play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and delivering complex refurbishments and fast‑track programmes in live retail environments.
Your Responsibilities
* Full project ownership from pre‑start to completion
* Lead site and project teams to ensure programme, quality, and safety standards are met
* Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
* Manage project schedules, cost plans, and procurement in line with delivery targets
* Ensure H&S compliance and client satisfaction throughout all phases
* Report regularly on project progress to senior management and stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
* Demonstrable experience in retail fit‑out (ideally Marks & Spencer or similar high‑street retailers)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Able to manage multiple sites or fast‑track programmes across the UK
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Background in live environment projects is essential
Certifications Required
* SMSTS
* Black CSCS Card
* First Aid at Work (3‑day)
* Duty to Manage Asbestos
* Fire Marshall / Fire Warden
* NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction Management
