Requirements The successful applicant will work within the accounts team and will be involved with: Bank reconciliations, cash forecasting and supplier payments Leading accounts receivable and ensuring efficient posting of cash receipts Process and manage colleague expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Creating month-end reconciliations, posting journals and assisting accounts production Maintenance of the Group’s asset registers Support the AP function with invoice registering and processing Maintaining accurate and organised financial records in line with company procedures Assisting with internal and external audits as required Being primary point of contact for banking queries Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc reporting, system improvements and administrative tasks Essential: A proactive, curious mindset with a positive attitude IT literate and competent in Excel Experience and understanding of a fast-paced accounts department Good communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to work independently and manage workload in a fast-paced environment Previous experience of working in a similar accounts or finance assistant role Desirable: Working towards or completed AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or similar professional qualification Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or technology environment Knowledge of accruals accounting and balance sheet reconciliation Understanding of VAT regulations and compliance Experience with NetSuite Exposure to month-end and year-end processes Benefits We recognise the value of exceptional talent.
