A prestigious Academy in WF3, Wakefield is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teacher of English to join their dynamic team. This role, commencing on the 19th of February and lasting until Easter (28th March), offers four days a week of enriching teaching experiences, from Monday to Thursday.
As a valued member of this high-performing, successful institution, you'll predominantly engage with Key Stage 3 students, guiding them through the wonders of English literature and language. Your responsibilities will encompass planning and marking, as well as delivering lessons and monitoring student progress to ensure their continuous development.
The successful candidate will possess:
1. The right to work in the UK
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
3. A DBS check or willingness to obtain one
4. Excellent behaviour management skills
5. Good time management abilities
6. Excellent organisational skills
7. A collaborative spirit, able to contribute effectively to a team
8. The ability to build rapport with students and support their learning journey
