About Our Client
A great opportunity for an to join a market leading textile business in the Greater Manchester office. They design and produce textiles for the Bedroom, living room etc. They have a great reputation in the industry with a number of long service employees. Job Description
3. Spot and development new products sales opportunities.
4. Create development diaries and track and push internally and externally with the factories any developments
5. Samples management required for customer meetings.
6. Setting up critical paths with factories for selected products ensuring we can meet the required shipment dates to meet launch.
7. Creating and sending out internally packaging forms and photography form
8. Responsible for weekly Intake sheets being updated and sent to our Customer giving overview of approvals and what is outstanding.
9. Escalating and tracking any products at risk and agreeing an action plan.
10. Work with the Technical team to highlight any potential issues. Track these through development to resolve.
11. Communicate across various departments to ensure we are hitting key dates on critical path.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Assistant - Home Textiles should have:
12. A background or interest in the retail/ wholesale sector
13. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
16. An analytical mindset to interpret data and market trends.
17. A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
