We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. This role involves supporting the management team in daily operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
* Assist in the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
* Maintain inventory levels and assist with food production planning.
* Train new employees in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service protocols.
* Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for positive resolutions.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is crucial.
* Proven ability to manage teams effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
* A background in hotel management or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
